While other management companies may assign portfolios of 15-18 associations to each manager, we believe this is a flawed metric. A community with 450 condominiums, two pools, tennis courts, walking paths, a clubhouse and two lakes will take the assigned manager far more time than a 65 unit single-family homeowners association with no amenities and public streets. For this reason, we assign our managers their portfolios based on a detailed metric which takes into account the amount of time and attention the manager has available. This means the manager's attention is divided onto fewer clients at any time, and reduces the chance that errors could occur, effectively improving the end result experience for every client.

Managers working for G.S. Phillips & Co. have no fewer than 2 years' success managing community associations, and must earn the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) accreditation within 6 months of joining our team. Candidates for any position with our company must complete a rigorous interview process and present for six weeks of one-on-one training with Greg Phillips.
Only after successfully completing this training period to Greg's satisfaction will the manager be assigned their first association. In exchange for this we compensate our managers far better than the average for the St. Louis market, and better than most management companies in the United States. We aim to employ only energized, committed, and competent professionals who ensure your satisfaction is their highest priority. To access basic community information, your community's website is the place your Owners can go 24/7. There they will find account information, forms for clubhouse reservations or architectural requests, summarized association financials, recent meeting minutes, a newsletter archive, a form to request a work order, a form to report a violation, a copy of the association's annual management plan, and many more useful and informational tools which make being an Owner more enjoyable!
